Samsung Refrigerator Adds Generative Wallpaper Feature 제이샤인, 2024년 08월 30일2024년 08월 30일 Samsung Announces AI Appliance Feature Updates for Bespoke AI Family Hub Refrigerators Samsung Electronics announced that it will begin a phased rollout of new software updates for its kitchen appliances through its regular update service, “Smart Forward,” starting at the end of this month. The updates will be available for several key kitchen products, including the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator, the Bespoke AI dishwasher, and newly released ovens, induction cooktops, and microwaves. One of the key features in this update is the “Generative Wallpaper” for the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator. This new function allows users to select from seven themes such as nature, flowers, and food, along with six art styles, including watercolor, oil painting, and illustration, to create custom images. These images can be displayed on the refrigerator’s cover screen to refresh the kitchen’s atmosphere or shared via the whiteboard app to send special messages to family members. The Bespoke AI dishwasher will receive a new “Lower Cup Wash” cycle, which will be available for 14 and 12-place setting models released after 2023. This feature enables users to quickly clean lightly soiled cups or tumblers in the lower rack, accommodating tumblers up to 27 cm in height by raising the upper rack. The cycle is also time-efficient, saving up to 18 minutes compared to the standard wash cycle. Additionally, the “Quick Remote” feature, which was recently expanded to robotic vacuums, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, and certain air conditioner models, will now be available on 2024 kitchen appliances starting in September. This feature allows users to control their connected appliances directly from their smartphone via a pop-up window when their phone is in close proximity to the appliance. Functions include stopping or finishing cooking processes and monitoring the refrigerator’s temperature and door status. Samsung will showcase these updates at the IFA 2024, Europe’s largest home appliance trade show, held in Berlin starting on September 6. At the event, visitors will be able to experience the enhanced features brought by Smart Forward. Yoo Mi-young, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Digital Appliances Business, stated, “Samsung Electronics continues to provide consistent software upgrades that reflect consumers’ lifestyles and trends. We will keep expanding services through Smart Forward so that a wide range of customers can enjoy these new features.” Editor 제이샤인Provided by: SAMSUNG 💡 Brand Note 뉴스&트렌드 SAMSUNGSAMSUNG ELECTRONICS삼성삼성전자
