Samsung Discusses the Convergence of AI and Security Technologies

Samsung Electronics announced that it will host the ‘8th Samsung Security Tech Forum (SSTF)’ on September 10 at the Samsung Electronics Seoul R&D Campus.

The forum, held annually since 2017, aims to expand the base of information security technology and nurture talent.

This year’s theme is “Security with GenAI: Safeguarding the Future with Generative Intelligence,” and it will serve as a platform to share the latest achievements in the field of security technology.

Registration for the forum is open online from August 12 to September 10, allowing participants to attend lectures from world-renowned security experts and experience AI security technologies firsthand.

The event will feature invited lectures from professors at New York University, KAIST, and POSTECH, along with presentations by Samsung’s chief technology officers and security experts who will discuss the latest research findings and security strategies.

Samsung Electronics aims to use this forum to introduce the transformative changes that AI technology can bring to the security sector and to discuss the construction of a safer digital environment.
